Floridian Foodie

1. Bella Mia Italian Café

The coffee and food here were AMAZING. My only complaint is that the service was slow. The desserts were super fresh and yummy. Because of the slow service, the waiter gave us a free red velvet mini cake with a beautiful rose made out of royal icing. We split some desserts including stuffed donuts and a Nutella pie.

2. Naples Ice Cream Shoppe

This ice cream parlor is known for its ice cream sandwiches. The sandwiches are referred to as sundaes in a sandwich. The ice cream is filled with cherries, chocolate, and an array of other flavorful finds. Mine had two giant Oreos as the cookies and was dipped in chocolate.

3. Norman Love Confections

Looking for decadent desserts? Look no further. This “chocolate salon” has the most spectacular creations. I had a lemon French macaroon and chocolate log filled with caramel, hazelnut spread, and graham crackers.

4. Forever Fiore Secret Garden Tea House

This tea shop sure makes you feel like you’re on a secret getaway. There are roses at every turn, pink teapots, and gold-rimmed plates. The food took a while to come out but was well worth it. The curry chicken mini sandwiches and Macha macaroons were worth the wait.

5. Louie Bossi’s

Louie Bossi’s is a famous landmark for Fort Lauderdale. We sat in the back garden of the Italian restaurant where we ate home-made pasta and creamy cheesecake.
